Kelley's Fine Arts Dance Instruction at the Fine Arts Center

Alexis Kelley, of Kelley's Fine Arts, is offering dance classes in tap, jazz, clogging, hip-hop and lyrical for ages 3 and up at the Fine Arts Center of Kershaw County. While our dance programs are already up and running, students may join in January. There is still time to prepare for the May recitals. With the addition of classes in tap, jazz, clogging, hop-hop and lyrical to the center's already established Cecchetti Ballet program (taught by instructor Judith Hawkesworth) the center offers instruction for the well-rounded dancer.

You can still register but don't wait until it is too late.  Below is the Schedule for 2011-2012. Some classes are already nearly full already.

3:30-4:00 Basic Clogging (Non-Competitive)
4:00-4:30 Basic 5th on up Jazz/Hip-Hop (Non-Competitive)
4:30-5:00 1st - 4th Tap
5:00-5:30 1st - 4th Jazz/Hip-Hop
5:30-6:00 3 - 5 year old Tap/Creative Movement
6:00-6:30 Advanced Lyrical
6:30-7:00 Advanced Jazz
7:00-7:30 Advanced HipHop
7:30-800 Private Lesson

Thursday
6:00-6:30 Advanced Clogging
6:30-7:00 Advanced Tap

Fees for the classes: $15 registration fee, $35 per month for the first class (one class each week - number of classes per month varies), $20 per month for each additional class (examples: at student taking Tap pays $35 per month for one tap lesson each week of that month. A student taking both Tap and Clogging pays $55 per month for one tap and one clogging lesson each week of that month). A limited number of private lessons are available for a fee of $50 a month (one 30 minute lesson per week)

Kelley's Fine Arts currently has three studio locations - Olanta, Lake City and Florence - teaching dance to thousands of students for over 21 years. Alexis' mother Burnadene Kelley is the owner and director of Kelley's Fine Arts.
