Costuming 101

Costuming 101 (16 & up) | Class #310

Instructor: Carolyn Myrick

Saturdays, November 4 & 11 | 2:00-4:00 p.m.  | McCarney Room (Bassett Building) | Register by: October 30 | $25

Costuming show is just as important as any other aspect of the production. Costuming, much like scenery, is expected, and authenticity prevents distraction from the story line. Students will learn to identify and analyze the relationship of the costume to the character, the story, the ensemble, the locale, and the time period. Students will develop a costume plan using a budget and examine the roles of the various positions involved in the costuming process.
