The third part of a four-part Chamber Music Series here at the FAC, Camden native Claire Bryant returns again to her hometown from New York with a group of young, energetic musicians for another homecoming performance that will leave you breathless!

There will be a 6:00 pm cocktail reception followed by the concert at 7:00 pm.

South Carolina native, Claire Bryant, brings New York City's finest Young Artists including fellows and alumni from The Academy: A Program of Carnegie Hall, The Juilliard School, and the Weill Music Institute to South Carolina return to Camden for a Community Residency - promoting arts education, community engagement, and arts advocacy through Chamber Music.

"Claire Bryant and Friends" is an exciting new collaboration between South Carolina communities and New York City's most active and innovative chamber musicians.  As young artists of the 21st century, these musicians are dedicated to the importance of community connection, through work in the public schools, retirement communities, health care facilities, community centers and other venues that make up the core of our society.

The Academy is an innovative two-year fellowship program created by Carnegie Hall and The Juilliard School for the country's finest young professional musicians, providing performance opportunities, advanced musical training, and the opportunity to work in partnership with a K-12 music teacher in a New York City public school.  These experiences as part of The Academy have inspired these young musicians to adopt an artistic mission that encompasses a high level of music making, collaborative programming, and interactive performance.  In addition, they have a passionate desire to push beyond the formal concert setting, and bring music to the public, in hopes of garnering a greater connection between our society and the arts.

These talented artists will spend the entire week bringing Chamber Music into the Kershaw County community.
